 概要Fluorenone (FN) exhibited reversible redox property and formed a dianion state in aprotic solution, which was protonated in protic solution to form fluorenol (FNO). Poly(2-acrylamide-9-fluorenone) was synthesized via the radical polymerization. The polymer was hydrogenated by electrolytic reduction in protic solution. The resultant polymer evolved hydrogen gas with an iridium complex, to reveal reversible hydrogen-storage capability. Furthermore, the iridium complex was applied to the catalyst for the electrolytic hydrogenation of carbonyl compounds.
